The Story of My Art
Welcome to BBBC Ceramics. We hope you will find the piece that brings you peace here at our home of clay. Our story begins several years ago when I took a pottery class in Austin, TX in my 20's with co-workers of mine at the time. I loved the art of ceramics. When the professor told me that I had a gift of learning ceramics like none he had seen before, I chuckled. As a sales executive myself, I thought, wow! what a selling technique. I enjoyed this class so very much that I went back several times on my own. Then life happened and my career took off. Fast forward to my late 40's, my health took a downwards spiral and I could no longer work on someone else's time clock or in a specific setting for that matter as I have to rest at my body's request. I have told my husband for years that I wanted a pottery studio. When I realized that going to work for a company was out of the question due to being bed-bound most days, I asked my husband for a pottery wheel. I wanted to pick back up the art I loved and lost. To my suprise I had a wheel the very next day. As time went on, I realized that the art of ceramics would never be the love that got away ever again. I wanted to name my ceramics company something special and, well, there is nothing more special than my 4 children, Briley, Braden, Brianna and Case. Thats when my story of BBBC Ceramics began. A Heartfelt Process
To me, my clients' hearts are my most prized pieces. Because I am a one-woman studio with a limited kiln, each creation takes close to a month. Because every item is hand-thrown, no two are ever exactly alike—a centimetre difference or a unique throw line is the signature of a piece made by hand, not a machine.
Bringing Your Vision to Life
When you commission a piece, I want to hear your vision. If I feel I can't capture it perfectly, I’ll happily refer you to another artist. All custom requests must be paid upfront; please allow at least 30 days plus shipping time for the journey from wet clay to your home.
Returns & Care
If you're unhappy with a non-custom item, you may return it within 48 hours of receipt for a refund (less shipping). Please package it with extra care! Personalized pieces with names or specific quotes cannot be returned unless the piece itself is resellable.
Transparency & Privacy
My photos and videos are always unfiltered to show the true color and texture of the clay. I love sharing my work to inspire others, but if your piece features a personal name, I will always ask your permission before sharing it on my site or social media.
